Homage

Paying homage to what I reckon is the premier season of the year, welcome Autumn. The water and weather are still warm, there's more offshores and swell, and the sky is even "bluer". This was one of my favourite morning surfs from last year. Seriously fun.

Lift Off

Nose rides then tubes, now days the ultimate for a big chunk of the surfing population is the 'air'. Can't say I've had much success myself, ridden over a few backwashes... might have got the fins out! I'm pretty content to keep trim. No problems for Harris though.

So much fun on this morning last week. Small but clean with great shape and uncrowded too. Jake and Harris on the left surfed for ages. I took some photos and joined them and a handful of others for a few hours myself.

Surfer's Season
